Introduction to Applications – KC:
Introducing, WASP3D Applications for Live Production.
In this Tutorial, we will take you through the different Application used for Live Streaming.
We begin with Opening the Kernel Controlled or the KC Application.
Double click on KC application, to open the KC services.
Kernel controller is the Broadcast Database Management Software that manages, maintains and delivers data to all the WASP3D clients across the network.
It is used for easy database management for any type of broadcast
Double click on KC application, to open the KC services.
It will keep running in the background, while minimized in the task bar.
Introduction to Applications – DD
Now, we open the Drone Designer application, which is the inbuilt real-time 3D CG graphics design application.
Once the application is open, we manage the preferences setting to make sure the KC is connected to the Drone Designer.
if KC is connected to the design application, then it will show the Green icon, else it will show the red icon, You can click on reconnect to establish a connection to the KC services.
It is important to run the KC services and, connect with the applications to be able to save the template on KC, and Play templates on the Client applications.
As we continue within the design application, we go to the design tab and show an overview of 2D and 3D primitives by creating a rectangle, which is a 2D Primitive.
Here we show you How to move within the viewport.
Scale, the rectangle by defining values to the rectangle.
Create materials and apply on the rectangle.
Import an image and apply on the rectangle.
We now show you a 3D primitive by creating a cube and manipulating its parameters like position and color.
Introduction to Applications – SC
We now open the Sting Client Application and take you through the process of opening a playlist pool.
To create a new playlist, start by clicking on the plus button, selecting standard, and renaming the playlist, Double click to open the playlist and drag the template into the new playlist.
We now open the preferences to enable the player container.
Double click on the template to load the template on the player, Click on Cue, then on play to play the template on server.
You can also cue the template by using keyboard button F9, and play the template by using Control plus SPACE,
Switch from Program to Preview
To view how you’re Live stream would look like, We Now show you how to switch from Program to Preview on the server.
This will give you a preview of the template before going on AIR.
When playing templates on program mode you will get the output from server.
When playing template on preview mode, it will not give you output and you can only see preview on server.
